Request carton data with the quote
Ask for pieces per inner pack, pieces per carton, carton dimensions, gross weight and estimated total volume. Custom packing can change both price and lead time.
Confirm pallet or floor loading
Pallets improve handling but consume space and add weight. Floor loading may improve container utilization but requires suitable unloading plans. Confirm the method before booking.
Agree shipping marks
Provide consignee marks, item code, quantity, country-of-origin wording, barcode or retailer labels before carton printing. Late changes can delay packing.
Clarify the trade term
Confirm whether the quote is EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP or another agreed Incoterm, including named place or port. The term affects which party handles inland transport, export clearance, freight and import costs.
Final pre-shipment check
Review packing photos, carton count, dimensions, weights, required commercial documents and booking details against the purchase order.
