Paper Bowls for Soup and Noodles: Buying Checklist
Soup bowls need attention to coating, lid fit, capacity and transport handling.
Capacity is not the only number
A bowl marked with one capacity may not be suitable when filled to the rim. Check usable serving volume and leave space for lid closure.
Lid fit should be tested
Soup, noodles and rice meals need reliable lid matching. Ask for compatible lids and test with hot food where possible.
Check cartons for delivery operations
If bowls are used in a busy restaurant or delivery chain, carton packing should be easy to store, open and count.
