How to Brief a Supplier for Custom Printed Food Boxes
A clear custom box brief helps suppliers quote faster and reduces artwork mistakes.
Send the box use first
Tell the supplier what food will go inside the box, not only the box size. Fried food, bakery items, rice meals and salads need different structure and coating choices.
Include artwork status
If the design is ready, send the dieline file and brand colors. If not, explain logo position, printing area and whether carton marks are needed. A clear brief saves several rounds of correction.
Confirm packing and shipping
For export orders, carton size, pallet preference and destination can affect the final quote. Share these details early if they are important for your warehouse.
